Dear friends,
the basis of the CHI Network is the cultivation of love and respectful cooperation, regardless of origin, skin color, belief, or sexual orientation.
We are therefore immensely shocked by the current global political situation.
Under these circumstances, it is not easy to pursue normality, but it would also not be right to let yourself be put off and take people's love of life.
We thank everyone for their support, considering their possibilities – humanity knows no politics!
What may not mean much to us may mean a lot to others.

This weekend the german VCH Hotels organize a transport with urgend needed goods to the polish - ukrainian border to hand out these to an ukrainian human organization. I am sure that the other members of CHI help as well. So let's pray:

God of peace and justice,
we pray for the people of Ukraine today.
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or peace,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion
to guide their decisions.
Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

Dear Guest and Friends of the Christian Hotels:
Recently we have all been faced with the most extraordinary situation, previously unthinkable. The Covid 19 virus now dominates our social and economic existence. We are faced with unsettling changes to our daily routine, and how we interact with each other. These changes are severe and sometimes frightening. Our hoteliers and their employees are taking care to ensure that all additional recommended health and safety measures, including social distancing, are consistently implemented to the highest standards. Employers and employees are working together to achieve this to ensure the safety of all.
Every day we learn more as new information becomes available about Covid 19 and its potential impact. In times like these we want to be there for our customers; although not every Hotel, Recreation Center, Convention Center etc. is open due to gouvernment restrictions. As a Christian organization, it is our responsibility to follow the government guidelines re Covid 19, but at the same time remain prayerful, asking the Lord for his support and guidance.
We continue to monitor this quickly changing situation in order to remain at the highest level of compliance. We encourage you to remain calm and healthy, by following all recommendations made by our health authorities. We are confident that, together, we can get through this challenging time. We look forward to welcoming you and your families back to our venues soon.

CHI Christian Hotels International is working to establish a world wide directory of christian hotels.
The ACH / VCH Hotels
Christian Hotels International has its origin in Association of Christian Hotels (ACH) that was founded in 1895 in Switzeland. The Verband Christlicher Hotels (VCH) is the german form of the name. The association has several european countries as members.
For more than a century the ACH/VCH hotels have been known for their hospitality, friendliness, excellent service and comfort.
CHI - a new direction
During the annual meeting of ACH i Basel i march 2008 it was decided that the association shall work to include new countries on a world wide basis. One of its first goals is to establish a world wide directory of christian hotels. This developement is to carried out under the name: CHI - Christian Hotels International / Christian Hospitality International
