LOCATION:
On beautiful Söderslätt, a stone's throw from Sweden's southernmost cape Smygehuk, lies Äspögården. The historic vicarage, from the middle of the 19th century, is located in the idyllic and heritage-listed village of Äspö. We offer different types of activities such as B & B, retreats, conferences etc. On the farm there are three different houses and a large leafy park with an orchard at the front and large trees, gazebos and a gazebo at the back. The houses have libraries, dining rooms and lounges for socializing in beautiful surroundings. Only 10 minutes away by bike are the wonderful Äspö sea baths. Äspögården is a place that invites recreation, reflection and community.
B&B
Äspögården offers during June-August a personal and affordable bed and breakfast in a rural setting, in a village that is buzzing with life. The price includes a lovely breakfast buffet, which is served in the old parsonage or, weather permitting, outside in our lush garden. In our B & B there are 12 rooms with a total of 29 beds, which are located in a newer building. All rooms have their own toilet and shower and are carefully furnished to create a warm and homely feeling. In the same building there is a lovely community room with a fully equipped kitchen. We also offer the option of using one of the grills out in the garden.
The beautiful wing from 1850 can be rented weekly by private individuals or companies with space for 6-8 people. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for 8 people. There is also a family room with a large glass area, which faces a west-facing patio. At the back of the house there is a garden with seating.
CONFERENCES:
The farm is very suitable for conferences, staff and board days, driving days, writing days, etc.! We accept groups from September – May. You have the entire farm at your disposal, which enables planning, team building, etc. in an undisturbed environment. If you are a small team, you can enjoy the days in our beautiful gazebo with a stove. We offer different sizes of group & conference rooms and access to a projector is available. A footpath connects Äspögården with Äspö church, which is a stone's throw from the vicarage. The church is welcome to be borrowed for devotions or other gatherings.
Our vision is an overall concept that is imbued with loving care. For us, it is important to look after both spirit, body and soul and therefore serve a healthy and good vegetarian/vegan diet.
There is also the possibility of self-catering in our B & B annex. There is a lovely community room with a fully equipped kitchen.
At conferences, we rent out all of our 16 bedrooms, with a total of 37 beds.
RETREATER:
Äspögården is a fantastic place for recreation, reflection and creativity. We want to create opportunities for churches and private individuals to organize days of silence, creative retreats, etc. We accept groups from September – May. During retreats there are no other guests on the farm.
Our vision is a comprehensive concept that is permeated with loving care. For us, it is important to take care of both spirit, body and soul, and we therefore serve a healthy and tasty vegetarian/vegan diet. We offer full board and together we put together a suitable program. The old parsonage is ideal for retreat activities with its beautiful parlors.

EXPERIENCES:
In the small village of Äspö there are some farm shops, well worth a visit.
The coast between Trelleborg and Ystad offers many beautiful beaches and cozy fishing villages with culinary restaurants. Just 3 km from the farm is Äspö sea resort, with a newly built jetty. In the villages around Äspö there are various opportunities to have a meal or drink a cup of coffee. In our immediate area there are further beaches and golf courses.
In Söderslätt there are many picturesque villages where you will find cozy cafes, farm shops and golf courses. Just 20 minutes west is the city of palm trees Trelleborg with its Vikingaborg, Trelleborgen and other sights and restaurants. 30 minutes east you will find lovely Österlen and Ystad. If you want more of a big city pulse, Malmö is 45 minutes away, and from there you can easily cross the bridge to cozy Copenhagen.
